Samhain

Don't have much to say, just wanted to mark the day...

Samhain is a high Sabbat, a time to honor those who came before us. At this time of year, ending the harvest, we say goodbye to the old and wait for the new. The Goddess sleeps under the blanket of Winter and the Lord of the Hunt sustains us with his fires.

We celebrate the end of the harvest,
We honor those animals that have died,
We pay homage to our Ancestors,
We lay out soul cakes for them.
We honor the cycle of Life and Death--
And praise and honor the God and Goddess.

The veil between the worlds is thin...
